Two 925 silver name pendants shot flat and close, a long name beside a short one, showing how the cut-out letters join.

Personalised Silver Name Pendants: What Can Be Made

A personalised silver name pendant is the one order people stall on. You are approving a spelling, a script and a shape that does not exist yet, and once it is cut there is no second version.

So this is a reference, not a pitch: what can be made in 925 sterling silver in India, what cannot, and how long it takes.

What personalised covers here: names, initials, Morse code, engraving

The Personalized collection has eighteen pieces live, roughly ₹1,999 to ₹8,999, doing four different jobs:

  • A full name, cut out as letters.
  • A single initial or a pair, where the letterform is the design.
  • A date or word in Morse code, which reads as beads and dashes to everyone except the person who knows. It has its own guide.
  • Engraving on a shape that already exists: a band, a bracelet plate, the inside of a ring.

They are not interchangeable. A cut-out name fails at lengths an engraved plate handles easily, and engraving wears where a cut-out never will.

Name pendants: scripts, character counts, and what actually fits

The Personalized Name Neckpiece at ₹3,999 is the straightforward version: your name cut in 925, on a chain. Gold plating is ₹4,199, and the product page is blunt that plating is for party wear only with no guarantee, so plain silver is safer for daily wear — the gold-plated silver guide explains why. The Personalized Name Charm Neckpiece at ₹5,999 hangs the name as a charm; the Personalized Couple Name Neckpiece at ₹4,499 carries two.

English, Hindi and Devanagari: what is possible and what is not

English and Roman script are the default. No product page lists which other scripts are possible; the listings send specific questions to the brand's WhatsApp number instead. So if you want Devanagari, ask first and send the name written out. The matras sit above and below the shirorekha, the top line, and a cut-out has to hold all of that as one connected piece of metal.

Why a long name needs a different pendant shape

Four to six letters in a joined script sits well on a chain. Past about eight it gets long and thin, the joins between letters become the weak points, and it catches on a dupatta or a kurta neckline. Use a plate or charm shape that holds the name inside a solid outline, or drop to a single initial.

Initials and monograms: one letter, two, or a couple's pair

A single letter is the most wearable version of this. The Initial Pendant at ₹3,999 is 16mm by 11mm, small enough to layer. The Initial Bubble Neckpiece at ₹6,999 is 26mm by 20mm and reads from across a room; the Signature Initial Neckpiece is the same price, smaller at 11.6mm by 15mm, and set with stones. For a hand or wrist, the Initial Charm Ring is ₹2,199 and the Initial Bracelet ₹3,499.

Engraving on bands, kadas and the inside of a ring

The Personalized Band at ₹3,399 takes text along the outside. The Personalized Name Kada starts at ₹10,999, engraved to order in your size; the listing says the price moves with size, so confirm it before ordering. The Personalized Cube Band starts at ₹1,999 for one cube and steps up about ₹800 per cube, and the Mama Bracelet at ₹3,499 is the same idea with the word already chosen.

Depth, legibility, and why engraved text wears down

Sterling silver sits at roughly 2.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, harder than fine silver and softer than steel. That is what makes it good to engrave and what makes engraving fade: text on the outside of a ring softens over years of wear, while text inside a band is protected by the finger it sits on. Resizing works the same metal the text is cut into, so settle the size first with the ring size guide.

Couple pieces: name rings, initials mangalsutra, matching cufflinks

The Couple Name Ring at ₹3,799 is adjustable, which quietly solves the sizing problem when you cannot measure the other hand. The Couple Initials Mangalsutra is ₹5,499 and the Personalized Name Mangalsutra ₹3,499; the mangalsutra guide and the Mangalsutra collection cover those. For matching pairs, see the bond and pair bracelets guide and Twinning Jewellery.

Cufflinks: the corner of this collection nobody looks at

Two cufflink pairs sit at the bottom of this collection and almost nobody scrolls to them: the Couple Initials Cufflinks and the Aeroplane Cufflinks, both ₹5,999 and both in Above 4999. They answer the hardest gifting brief there is: a man who does not wear jewellery but does wear a formal shirt. Nearby sits the Custom Initial Brooch, from ₹4,499.

How long it takes: the 1–15 day personalised processing window

The shipping policy separates the two cases. A stock order is usually processed and shipped in 1 to 7 days; a personalised one takes 1 to 15 days before it ships, plus 2 to 7 business days for delivery. Payment to doorstep is therefore about three days at the fast end and three and a half weeks at the slow end, and nobody can tell you in advance which you get.

The order-by date for Diwali on 8 November 2026

Diwali 2026 falls on Sunday 8 November. Take the middle of both ranges, roughly eight days to make and five business days to arrive, and an order placed around 20 October lands in the first few days of November with a week in hand. The slow end of that window misses Diwali even from 20 October. Past 25 October you are relying on the fast end.

Karwa Chauth on Thursday 29 October is tighter still: ordering a personalised piece now means betting on the fast end, so something from Gifting that ships from stock is the realistic answer, with Gift Packaging as a separate add-on.

The honest caveats before you order

Returns on a personalised piece

The published refund policy gives 7 days from delivery on unused, unworn pieces in their original packaging with the authenticity card and tag intact. It says nothing, either way, about personalised or made-to-order items. Until the brand says otherwise in writing, assume a piece cut with a name is treated differently, and get that answer on WhatsApp before approving the spelling.

Whether buy-one-get-one applies to a customised piece

Sometimes, and it is easy to check. The Buy One, Get One Free collection is built from a product tag rather than applied site-wide, and only a handful of personalised pieces carry it. If the piece shows on that collection page the offer applies and the free item comes off at checkout without a code. It runs once per order, not once per pair.

Spelling: you approve it, then it is made

Send the name in writing, in the capitalisation you want, and read it back once before confirming. Nicknames, double letters, a surname you have spelled one way since school: this is where those get caught. A cut-out name cannot be edited later, only remade.

Caring for an engraved or cut-out name piece

Two things are specific to this category. A soft-bristled brush, not a cloth, is what gets into the joins between letters and the cut of an engraving. And on a piece with darkened detailing, a dip cleaner strips that detail back along with the tarnish. The cleaning guide has the rest.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a personalised silver piece take to make and deliver? The shipping policy allows 1 to 15 days to process a personalised order against 1 to 7 for a stock item, plus 2 to 7 business days for delivery. Allow three and a half weeks.

Can you make a name pendant in Hindi or Devanagari? The product pages do not list supported scripts and send specific questions to WhatsApp. Ask before ordering and send the name written out: the matras sit above and below the top line and must hold together as one piece of metal.

How many letters fit on a name pendant? There is no published limit. Four to six letters in a joined script wear well; past about eight the joins become the weak points, and a plate or charm shape holds a long name better.

Can a personalised piece be returned or exchanged? The published policy covers unused, unworn returns within 7 days with the original packaging and authenticity card, and is silent on personalised orders. Confirm your case in writing before approving the spelling.

Does the buy one get one free offer apply to customised pieces? Only for pieces that show in the Buy One, Get One Free collection. Some personalised items are in it, most are not, and the discount runs once per order.

What is the last date to order a personalised gift for Diwali 2026? Diwali is Sunday 8 November 2026. Ordering by around 20 October puts the middle of both windows in the first few days of November; past 25 October you are relying on the fast end.
